SUPPORTING THE JOURNEY

Boys & Girls Harbor was founded as a small summer in 1937 by Anthony Drexel Duke, Sr., is now an East Harlem community-based non-profit organization.  From their early childhood to college admittance, we are part of the journey for more than 1,300 children and young people.  Proceeds from Harbor Salute will fund Harbor programs, including two new initiatives: 

  • Establishing a Boys & Girls Harbor Youth Orchestra in September 2011, providing instruments for 40 students and professional instruction five days per week

  • Enhancing our Early Childhood Education efforts by creating a vibrant and vigorous learning environment, with new materials and equipment for our preschool classrooms and professional development for our teachers

    • Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.  The non-tax deductible portion for each ticket is: 

    1) $200 for reception/performance ticket

    2) $110 for performance ticket
