William Ackman is the founder and portfolio manager of Pershing Square Capital Management, L.P., a concentrated research-intensive fundamental value investor in long and occasionally short investments in the public markets. Pershing Square has played an active role in creating value at companies including Wendy’s International, McDonald’s, Ceridian Corporation, and Sears Canada.

Mr. Ackman has a demonstrated commitment to community service which is shown by his leadership in educational and charitable organizations. He is a member of the board of Boys & Girls Harbor and a co-chair of the 2010 Harbor Investment Conference. He is also a member of the Board of Dean’s Advisors of the Harvard Business School, Board of Advisors of Harvard’s Program on Corporate Governance, and the board of General Growth Properties, Inc. He is a Trustee of The Pershing Square Foundation, a charitable foundation he launched in 2007.

Michael D. Fascitelli is President and Chief Executive Officer of Vornado Realty Trust (NYSE: VNO), the nation’s third largest REIT and he serves as a trustee of the board. Mr. Fascitelli is also President and a Board member of Alexander’s Inc. and serves on the Board of Toys R Us.

Prior to joining Vornado, Mr. Fascitelli led the real estate investment banking business of Goldman, Sachs & Co and became a partner in 1992. He also served on the firm’s Investment Committee for the Whitehall Investment Committee. In 1996 he became President of Vornado Realty Trust.

Mr. Fascitelli is a Trustee and member of the Urban Land Institute. He is the Chairman of the Samuel Zell and Robert Lurie Real Estate Center at the Wharton School. He serves on the boards of the New York University Child Study Center Foundation, Inc., The Rockefeller University, and St. Bernard’s School. From the Greater New York Councils Boy Scouts of America he received the Good Scout award, the James E. West Fellow award, and the Silver Beaver Award. He is a resident of Manhattan. He and his wife have three children (Nicholas, 16; Matthew, 15; Jack, 12).
Prior to forming Pershing Square, Mr. Ackman co-founded Gotham Partners, L.P., a public and private equity investment partnership. Prior to Gotham Partners, Mr. Ackman began his career in real estate investment banking at Ackman Brothers & Singer, Inc. He received an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude from Harvard College.
In 2005, Mr. Axelowitz was selected as one of Registered Rep Magazine's “Top Ten Outstanding Brokers of the Year." In December 2004, he was featured in an Investment Advisor Magazine's article, “The Gift of Yourself." Mr. Axelowitz is an Officer on the board of Boys & Girls Harbor and a co-chair of the 2010 Harbor Investment Conference. He is also a dedicated member of the Robin Hood Foundation. Mr. Axelowitz is married with three children, and currently lives in Manhattan and Bridgehampton, NY.

Karen Finerman is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Metropolitan Capital Advisors, a New York-based investment management firm established in 1992.   As a value investor, she employs a disciplined approach targeting dislocations in pricing caused by events or catalysts in the corporate lifecycle or the macroeconomic environment.  Ms. Finerman believes that the marketplace is a creator of opportunity, but not a guide, and is willing to challenge the conventional wisdom. She and her firm have occasionally led and won activist proxy contests in the interest of unlocking shareholder value.

Dedicated to educating others about investing, Ms. Finerman appears as the “value voice” on CNBC’s Fast Money, one of the most watched business programs in America. The CNBC platform also enables Ms. Finerman to inspire women to succeed in the world of finance.

Ms. Finerman began her career as a trader at First City Capital, a risk arbitrage fund of the Belzberg Family, and then joined DLJ Securities Corp. where she became Lead Research Analyst for the Risk Arbitrage department. She received a B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, with a concentration in Finance. She serves on the board of The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research and is on the Investment Committee of Montefiore Medical Center.

Mark Axelowitz has been providing investment advice to high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and foundations since 1987. He has earned the designation of Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) through the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA) following coursework and an examination at the Wharton School of Business. Mr. Axelowitz is among only 2,000 individuals in the United States and Canada who have attained this prestigious designation. He has also completed the NYU Stern School of Business Advanced Program in Wealth Management, the Wharton School's Critical Elements of Consulting Program and received a BA from Hofstra University.
Craig Nerenberg is a managing partner of Brenner West Capital Partners, a value-oriented investment fund based in New York City with more than $160 million in assets under management.  He co-founded Brenner West in 2005 after working at MSD Capital, Michael Dell's family partnership, and before that with the investment firm Gotham Partners.  Mr. Nerenberg is a graduate of Dartmouth College where he earned his Bachelor's in Economics in 1999.
Mr. Nerenberg is the Chairman of the board of Village Health Works, a health clinic in Burundi, Africa.  Village Health Works is dedicated to providing outstanding quality health care to the rural village of Kigutu and its surrounding areas through comprehensive patient treatment and community empowerment.
Whitney Tilson is the founder and Managing Partner of T2 Partners LLC and the Tilson Mutual Funds.  The former manages three value-oriented private investment partnerships, T2 Accredited Fund, Tilson Offshore Fund and T2 Qualified Fund, while the latter is comprised of two value-based mutual funds, Tilson Focus Fund and Tilson Dividend Fund. Mr. Tilson is also the co-founder, Chairman and co-Editor-in-Chief of the newsletter Value Investor Insight, and is the co-founder and Chairman of the Value Investing Congress, a biannual investment conference in New York City and Los Angeles.
Prior to launching his investment career, Mr. Tilson spent five years working with Harvard Business School Professor Michael E. Porter studying the competitiveness of inner cities and inner-city-based companies nationwide. He and Professor Porter founded the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City, of which Mr. Tilson was Executive Director. Mr. Tilson also led the effort to create ICV Partners, a national for-profit private equity fund focused on minority-owned and inner-city businesses that has raised nearly $500 million.

Mr. Tilson was a founding member of Teach for America, and for his philanthropic work he received the 2008 John C. Whitehead Social Enterprise Award from the Harvard Business School Club of Greater New York. He is Chairman of the Manhattan chapter of the Young Presidents’ Organization. Mr. Tilson lives in Manhattan with his wife and three daughters.

Stephen Errico is the managing member and portfolio manager of Locust Wood Capital Advisers, LLC, a long-short hedge fund investing primarily in event-driven US equities. Mr. Errico formed Locust Wood Capital in 2002 starting with $30 million and has grown it to $350 million. Before founding Locust Wood Capital, he was a portfolio manager and financial consultant at Morgan Stanley. While at Morgan Stanley, he achieved chairman's council recognition, the highest level of distinction for financial consultants, and was one of the original members of the Morgan Stanley Custom Portfolio Program, a discretionary portfolio management program.
Mr. Errico’s devotion to community is expressed by his support of many charitable and educational organizations. Some of his major initiatives are The Valley Hospital Foundation (NJ) where he serves as a Vice Chairman, and Colgate University where he is a member of the “Hamilton Initiative” and the Presidents Council. Mr. Errico graduated from Colgate University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He also attended the London School of Economics in 1984, earning a Diploma/Degree.

Tony Duke founded Boys & Girls Harbor in 1937 and was Chairman of its board until 1994. He has been Vice President of Duke International Import/Export Company, President of A.D. Duke Realty, Inc., the Director of the American National Bank, and served on the Executive Committee of the Florida Growth Fund.
Mr. Duke has been honored with the first James W. Rouse Civic Medal of Honor by the Enterprise Foundation, CBS2’s Fulfilling the Dream Award, the Ellis Island Medal of Honor, the National Minority Business Council Community Service Award, Change for Kids’ first Lifetime Achievement Award, Metropolitan Hospital Award (for the Harbor’s work for children), as a Living Landmark by the New York Landmark Conservancy, the National Institute of Social Science Gold Medal, Save the Children National Award, and has received several Presidential Citations for the work of Boys & Girls Harbor.
